This is a rare, vintage, authentic Canadian Football League ball from the 1968 to 1984 era, when Jake G. Gaudaur was the Commissioner. This ball was the property of Gary F. Wood, who was a NY Giants quarterback from 1964 to 1966, and from 1968 to 1969. From 1970 to 1971, Wood was a quarterback with the Canadian Football League Ottawa Rough Riders. That is most likely where he obtained the ball, and there is a good chance that the ball was game-used. It's the well-known Spalding JV5 model. The ball is used, but in very good condition. A true collector's item, hard to find in the USA. Found priced on internet for $174 to several hundred.
