I’m selling my 2007 Crownline 252 EX. This has been a fantastic boat for us, but it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. It’s a 25-foot deck boat, which is the perfect size because you get the huge open floor plan of a pontoon but the hull of a real boat that can handle a rough lake without bouncing everyone around.
How it runs: It’s got the Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI (V8) with the dual-prop stainless outdrive. If you’ve never driven a dual-prop, it’s a game-changer. It has tons of low-end torque, so even if you have 10 people in the boat, it still pops right up on plane for tubing or skiing. I’ve always been on top of the maintenance—I’m the type of owner who does the oil and gear lube every season regardless of hours. It has 325 hours on it, which is nothing for these engines.
The Layout: This is the "EX" model, so it’s got all the high-end stuff Crownline is known for.
The Cabin: It has a full enclosed head with a sink and shower. My family loved this for long days at the sandbar so we didn't have to keep heading back to the dock.
Seating: It’s rated for 13 people, and you can actually fit them comfortably. The wrap-around seating is great for hanging out, and the snap-in carpet makes it easy to clean up at the end of the day.
Extras: It’s got a factory ski tower, a massive swim platform with a ladder, and a Bimini top that gives plenty of shade. There’s even a little wetbar area and a stereo system that sounds great.
Condition: I’ve always kept this boat out of the water when not in use. The gelcoat still has a deep shine and the interior is in excellent shape. It’s a heavy, well-built boat (about 5,300 lbs), so it feels very solid and safe in the water.
The Trailer: The tandem axle trailer is included. I just put brand-new tires on it and the brakes are solid. I wouldn’t hesitate to tow this boat across the state tomorrow.
I have a clean title in my name with no liens. This is a turn-key boat that is ready to head straight to the ramp. It’s been our "Cadillac on the water," and I think the next owner is going to be really happy with it.
