Experiments in bent and welded wire led Charles and Ray Eames to design this steel wire version of their single-shell chair for Herman Miller that remains relevant to this day. Chairs measure 32" at the back, seat is 18 5/8" wide x 16" deep with an 18" seat height on the versatile four-leg H Base introduced in 1954, each foot with original leveling floor glides. "PAT PENDING" engraved under the seat of these sturdy and comfortable 70-year old classics. Color is black.
