When I acquired these, I was puzzled if they would turn out better than reviews I read before, and by what margin. I recently had quite a collection to compare to. The reviews did not prepare me for "wow" factor that was in store for me when I plugged these babies in.

Tons of mid-range clarity, and they disappear when they make music. Amazing bass. Small room - no problem!

Soundstage - to die for! You are kind of there feeling the presence of each member of the band!

Very good detail, too! Neutral. Did that stood up to the hype? Yes, with plenty. There is a reason someone in forums called these speakers "amazeballs"!
