Manufactured in 1999, this is one of the very last pianos that the original Baldwin company actually made in their factory in Cincinnati . [[bought in 2000 by Gibson {guitar}later uprights were made in Korea by Samick]
This means something , because Baldwin was always a quality piano maker , and all the parts in this piano were proprietary. The soundboard is real spruce , and the case is real mahogany. The action is fullsize , with no plastic parts , and "in-house" hammers.
It's in excellent condition , having not had heavy use , and my recent action and keyboard regulation + careful tuning makes it an instrument suitable for a real piano player . In spite of its fancy case styling , it's a true studio upright, , and sounds like a real Baldwin . Toni , victorianpiano.com BBB
