With originals going for much more, this is a great chance to capture that look, sound and Fender hardwired chassis for close to a third of the cost on an original. Great attention to detail was exercised in the creation of this clone.
-1970 Bandmaster Reverb chassis
-New filter caps, new cathode bypass amps
-All new tone caps, silver mica and Orange Drops
-new tube socket at phase inverter.
-Correct finger jointed cabinet with Fender tolex applied with hot animal glue
-Aged Fender grill cloth, aged tube chart, "F" cap speaker cable, braided reverb cables, JBL speaker (reconed to D-130 specs)
The amp is most likely from the AA270 chassis, the builder used the 1964 Vibroverb AB763 as a model. The builder was Ken Fox, Portland, OR
The 15-inch baffleboard was replaced with a new baffleboard and 10- and 12-inch speaker (a Mojo and an old Jensen Alnico) but I have the original baffleboard and speaker which are included in the sale. The amp is in mint condition and has quiet operation. This amp has been kept in my smoke free music room, purchased directly from the builder. Local pickup only. Offers will be considered.
