There is dust, rust, signs of rodents, etc and it would take some real effort to make it as pretty as it once was.
That said these are very robustly engineered bikes, and would bet that in the right hands it would run once again.
Prior to being put in storage it was in good running and cosmetic condition, and had a number of performance upgrades including:
- Carbs modded to bypass the California emissions controls and jetted (a rare part was needed for that one)
- Exhaust baffle removed
- K&N intakes
- Tooth count on rear sprocket was reduced by one for greater torque off the line (original included)
- Modern LED rear turn signals installed (original 'Shrek ears' included)
I also will include a box of used spare parts:
- Reprinted repair manual
- Front fender
- Original removed parts
- Spare subframe
- Progressive front shocks (uncut tubes, condition unknown)
- Probably some other stuff I can't even remember at this point
The front brakes are now seized and it is very difficult to roll, so you will need at least two other people or a buddy and a winch to get it on a trailer - I will not be able to help so plan ahead!
