1984 BMW r100rs. 26k miles and yes the odometer works .This motorcycle is in great condition. I have been using it as a rider and not as a show bike. It runs great but could use a good wash. Everything works but clock keeps time in summer but not winter. Needing only a front tire in the near future. Repairs and upgrades recently include new oil sender, new shift shaft seal, new clutch push rod seal and new higher efficiency diode board by EME installed. Probably could use a complete fluid Tune-up in a thousand miles or two but all fluids are pretty clean. It has been a great bike for me but getting on in age and motorcycling days are ending so it's time to let it go. If interested, shoot email through Craigslist with any questions that you may have. The bike is located in New Canaan, look it up on maps. Not far from the Merritt parkway. This is the final edition of the full airhead design for BMW motorcycles. First $6,500 gets it. No trades, just cash.
