JOB SUMMARY

The Service Tech 6 - Refrigerion is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing refrigerion systems. They are expected to handle complex technical issues, provide guidance to junior technicians, and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operion of refrigerion equipment for commercial or industrial clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ability to report to work in a timely manner as scheduled by supervisor.

· Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, wer pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices and other similar machinery.

· Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.

· Maintain legible corpore and personal records of work history.

· Provide general repair work on refrigerion, heing and ventilion equipment such as air conditioning units, evaporive condensers, ice machine equipment, wer pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors.

· Provide preventive maintenance activities; diagnose equipment malfunctions and opering efficiency of mechanical equipment.

· Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects including startups of new installions.

· Embodies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaborion, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Educion / Training

· High school diploma or GED, equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.

· Valid EPA certifice.

Work Experience / Skills

· 6+ year's experience in commercial HVAC, refrigerion, and electrical required.

· Basic knowledge of refrigerion, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical.

· Experience working on refrigerion equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets a strong plus.

· Familiarity with single systems and rack systems along with previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes is very helpful.

· Knowledge of I/O network with board power.

· Ability to troubleshoot a lost board, no response alarm, and fan failure alarm.

· Knowledge of suction pressure transducer for Comtrol, E2, RMCC, and Danfoss.

· Knowledge of all boards and input devices in an EMS and its functions.

· Knowledge of a Hansen rod.

· Knowledge of the operion of a condenser bypass panel and VSD.

· Knowledge and ability to perform proper inverter maintenance.

· Knowledge of evaporive condensers and indoor humidity sensor.

· Ability to verify a story is properly pressurized.

· Ability to verify he staging, operion, anti-swe operions, and exterior lights operion.

· Knowledge of floing suction operion for E2 and Danfoss systems.

· Ability to demonstre proper PPE and safety equipment.
