For sale is a 6’ x 10” x 3” reclaimed heart pine mantle/floating shelf. I actually have 6 of these, but this is the only one currently planed and cleaned up. These were saved from a 100+ year-old building located in the Bronx in 2020 during demolition of the building. I’m 90% sure these are pine, but it’s possible they’re Douglas Fir.
Either way, these boards have amazing grain and coloring throughout. There’s a lot of character due to age, wear, milling, mail rust, etc. I’ve planed all four sides, so it’s basically ready to use. There are some minor planer marks, but they can be sanded down pretty easily.
I’ve removed all nails. These boards are VERY heavy.
