Description
Striking original figural sculpture by Lado, signed and dated 1984. This expressive kneeling nude male figure features elongated, abstracted facial and bodily forms (mother, daughter & son) with a strong emotional presence, consistent with modern and expressionist studio sculpture of the late 20th century.
The sculpture is made of stone with a marble-like appearance, showing natural tonal variation and surface texture consistent with hand-worked material. Substantial in size and weight, it is mounted on a solid black base for display.
Condition
Very good vintage condition. No visible cracks or repairs observed. Minor surface variations, small marks, and natural inclusions consistent with stone sculpture and age. Could use a good detailed cleaning Signature and date are clear and legible. See photos for full condition details.
