1989 Sea Ray SunDancer 300 (completely repowered!)

BUT, one engine is not working, anymore, and there is a bit of a scrape on the hull, with two small hulls. THAT being said, there is a ton of valuable stuff on this boat, all for just a few dollars. You just need to come and cart it away. It's located in Mamaroneck, NY

A great vessel, indeed. Extremely reliable. We are the second owners. The first owner had the boat until 2018. We have just had the boat professionally polished and detailed ($1000.00). Don’t let the age fool you; they just don’t build them like this, anymore. You can take this boat anywhere! Rock solid!

At great expense ($25,000.00), we have replaced BOTH engines, in the last 4 years. One has about 40 hours on it, the other about 50. They were broken in, properly and patiently. We have performed the oil changes, right on time, of course. One of the outdrives was replaced about four years ago; the other is in fine condition--no issues. The props are in great shape. Everything professionally maintained, year after year. Always spends the winter on the hard, professionally shrink-wrapped.

She comes right up on plane, and cruises at 27 knots, effortlessly. Quiet and pretty darned efficient, too, for a vessel of this size.

Main V-berth sleeps two, comfortably. Aft cabin sleeps 2 kids or one adult. Mid-cabin berth sleeps 2 kids or one adult. The mid-cabin dining area is comfortable, seating four. She has a full galley, with a two-burner stove (never, ever used), ice cold fridge with freezer, hot and cold running water. The hot water system works perfectly, and flows to both the galley and the head. She is wired for cable tv. It is plumbed for a marine head, with full pump out, but we never used it, so we replaced the commode with a porta-potty. If you really want a full-blown marine head, you just need to swap out the PP for a head unit. The tank is installed, but has never been used, as far as I know. The air conditioning rocks, as does the heater. Ice-cold or toasty warm.

In summary, this is a used, but well-loved boat. There are definitely some blotches on the upholstery and carpeting–that kind of thing--but overall she’s in great shape for her age. The price is not negotiable. We know what we have. Mechanically, she’s practically new. You’re getting the entire boat, stem to stern, for less than what we spent on the engines, alone. In other words, we’ve done all the heavy lifting, and now she’s yours to enjoy.

If you buy, now, we will be happy to negotiate a beautiful slip in Stamford, which is paid through October.
