1988 Fat City Cycles Wicked Fat Chance. Size 21”. The decals on the bike say Monster Fat. In 1988 Fat City offered the Monster Fat using a wicked frameset with a Deore build rather than Deore XT. This bike was custom built with the full upgraded Shimano Deore XT build kit but with the Monster decals instead of wicked. The serial number contains a “w” which means it’s a wicked frame. True temper steel. Matching Fat City handlebars. Black XT brake calipers (rare). Phil Wood hubs on hand built wheels. Campagnolo 26.4 mountain seat post. The bike was professionally tuned with fresh kool stop dual compound brake pads and cables a few years back but hasn’t really been ridden much since. Could use fresh tires as these are a little hard. $800 firm.
