Remington Rand Standard Typewriter. The name Remington Rand comes from the merger in 1927 of the Remington Typewriter Company with the Rand Kardex Company. It was a very known manufacturer of industrial goods including gun. It was in business until 1950s. Typewriter is in beige. Keys are in green with white lettering. Carriage is about 17". This is Super-Riter, very popular in 50s. It is in a reasonably good condition. Needs to be cleaned. Also needs to be oiled. Keys seem to be in good shape, no wear. The major problem is its ribbon seems to be not horizontal. This needs to be fixed. It should not be a large repair. Please understand, we sell it AS IS. It was in office for years, and as usual it finished in garage. Nobody tried it in recent years.
