Crisp, clean, nice and in a great, carved, mint gesso frame. Metal plate on frame reads V. CIAPPA Naples.
Oil painting on canvas. Great look and from a pristine New Canaan estate.
Measures overall about 28” x 32”. Frame alone is probably worth more than we are asking for the painting.
Probably 100 years old or so.
Painting appears to be un-signed and a student’s copy or forgery of Francesco Vinea’ works.
