Magnificent large scaled Italian Baroque carved and gold leaf gilded wooden candlestick base converted to lamp with fine usable silk shade.

The base carved gold gilded wood candlestick is probably Rome, circa 1760, with carved heads and faces .

This base was probably mounted as a lamp in the mid 20 th century. The fine expensive silk lampshade is in usable condition
