This MULTIPLAZ 3500, GENERATES IT'S OWN PLASMA FOR WELDING OR CUTTING. SCULPTURE OR JEWELRY MAKING? It is an excellent tool with amazing characteristics, capable of welding materials like no other process. The manufacturer's website attached below will introduce you to all of the aspects and capacities of this PLAZMA WELDER. This marvelous technology creates and burns it's own hydrogen by plitting a mixture of 50/50 denatured alcohol and distilled water. The water molecules of hydrogen and oxygen are separated by a standard 110-120v charge. The Hydrogen fuel welds the metal. The oxygen is off gassed into the work space. I had never welded before when I invested in this tool. It is easy to learn to use. Condition is very good with the exception of two amateur hand held torch errors. 1) The nylon carrier bag has two closure straps. One was accidentally melted by having the torch too close to the bag. 2) The torch came too close to the digital readout panel and slightly melted one of several layers of protective plastic. This error in no way affects the function of the control panel or torch. The unit comes with three had held torches which can be set to either weld or cut metals. Only one torch was placed into service and the second and third are still in new condition. Only one torch was used, exclusively for welding aluminum display armatures. Aluminum is very difficult to weld, but not with this tool. As an amateur with no experience I was able to get up to speed in very little time. This also works great for plumbing, sweating copper pipe fittings, melting lead filler into large cast iron pipe and just about any other metal welding, cutting and brazing applications.
