We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and organized **Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate** to join our moving and storage team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, keeping an organized warehouse, and working in a fast-paced environment.
### Starting Pay
* **$18.00 per hour**
* **Performance and wage review after 60 days**

### Responsibilities
* Safely operate a forklift (hi-lo) to move, stack, and retrieve storage vaults.
* Load and unload **5' x 7' x 8' storage vaults** into and out of warehouse rows.
* Ensure storage vaults are properly balanced and loaded to prevent shifting or damage.
* Label storage vaults and pallets accurately.
* Maintain accurate handwritten and computerized storage location maps.
* Keep track of storage unit occupants and inventory locations.
* Organize and store commercial storage pallets.
* Assist with loading and unloading moving trucks as needed.
* Organize and maintain warehouse supplies, including:
* Moving boxes
* Packing tape
* Mattress bags
* Moving blankets
* Dollies
* Hand trucks
* Packing materials
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
* Perform general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties.
### Qualifications
* Experience operating a forklift (hi-lo) preferred.
* Forklift certification is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
* Must be able to safely lift **50 pounds** on a regular basis.
* Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
* Bilingual **English/Spanish preferred**.
* Experience in moving, storage, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus.
