Growing Minds Youth Development Program is seeking a responsible and dependable driver to assist with daily Afterschool school pickups for our program.
This position focuses on safely transporting children from local schools to our program location using our company 16-passenger van.We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient with children, and confident driving a larger vehicle.
The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and able to maintain a calm and respectful environment while transporting students.
Responsibilities:
• Safely transport children from school to the program location
• Drive a **16-passenger company van** on designated pickup routes
• Ensure children enter and exit the vehicle safely
• Maintain a calm and respectful environment during transportation
• Communicate with program staff regarding student pickups
What We're Looking For:
• Valid driver’s license with a **Clean driving record**
• Comfortable driving a **16-passenger van**
• Must speak fluent English
• Must be comfortable speaking with **parents, teachers, and school staff during daily pickups**
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Patient and respectful with children
Requirements:
• Must be willing to complete OCFS clearance (fingerprints and physical)
• Must have or be willing to obtain required OCFS trainings
Pay:
$20 per hour
