Looking for a student or 20-something between jobs to intern for a professional photojournalist who has been in the business for decades. You would assist in delivery of newspapers across the Bronx and learn the business as you learn as you earn from day one-- if photos are published. A stipend would also be included. This is a career that once learning the basics, you can work anywhere you go and at any time there is "breaking" news.
Ideal candidate should be light on their feet, good written and verbal communication skills and able to follow directions, sometimes under pressure. Taking a decent photo / video and knowledge of the Bronx is helpful, but not necessary.
