1. Toy Soldier Setup of the Old Southwest, 1/32 scale
Description:
Hello, this is for a setup of the old Southwest, from the time before the Mexican-American War to the time of the American Civil War.
In the first picture it shows a wooden Fort main entrance with two doors, and, just a wall section of the Fort(Marx/Marx Clone, slightly outline with some paint).
The blockhouse that goes over the gate, along with the inside and sides of it, is highlighted with partial paint to bring out the details(see picture 13-14).
The second picture shows Marx/Marx Clone walls in two colors, at least two of the walls have ledges. There are in total at least the main gate, and, about 15 walls to make a decent size small to medium to near large fort. Also shown is one of the gate’s door.
The third picture shows a Marx terrain Desert section modified cut down to 12” by 11” in size, with a little paint. Also Marx and Generic parts of a lantern, two rifles, ladder, cactus, and, one early BMC smoothbore cannon(the latter highlighted by paint).
The fourth picture shows 6 CTS frontiersman, trappers, settlers, and, a horse.
The fifth picture shows Marx supposly U.S. troopers from the Mexican American War. Not that many manufacturers ever made troopers for this conflict, especially when you could just use Napoleonic soldiers to substitute for the 1848 War.
The sixth shows a Armies in Plastic regular U.S. army trooper, assisted by a civilian cowpoke, trading shots with a Rebel follower.
Picture seven and eight show CTS nine Mexican Soldiers, in three colors, with a scaling ladder(used anytime from 1836 to 1848). You can see, in picture eight, a Mexican Peasant “drafted” into General Santa Anna’s Army.
Picture nine an Armies in Plastic Spanish soldier used as a Rebel/ Confederate sympathetic follower, shooting at U.S. troopers in the Fort. In the background are two Generic modern day tourists people enjoying the reenactment.
Picture ten shows about ten pieces left, mostly weapons, on a Marx Weapons and Accessories Spru.
Picture eleven shows 3 fences, 2 boulders, and, 2 trees that can be used for setups.
Picture twelve shows fort parts , of a flag for a flagpole(you supply the flagpole), rifle rack and five rifles, ladder, the same cannon shown in picture three, water well, crate of rifles, barrel, box, hitching post, and, three bags of supplies.
These are the units from the taken down Playset, time to let it get a new owner.
Please note, the walls of the fort come in two colors.
