Metallic Britains Elizabeth II on Horse, Scottish Piper, Corgi Shakespeare; Ike and Monty Metallics and a few Plastic Toy Soldiers
Description:
Hi, picked up the Britains of Her Majesty the Queen Riding Sidesaddle on a Horse, and, the Scottish Piper, when I visited the United Kingdom back at the turn of the century.
The first group were on displayed briefly, in my China Cabinet, then wrapped and put away(I did not want the strong tropical sun, to start fading the vibrant colors). They came new, but, were not sold with any packaging(See picture 1).
The Britains Marching Scottish Guard with modern Assault Rifle is still in an unopened packaging. See picture 2.
The William Shakespeare diecast, I got in London, it is from Corgi Madame Tussaud’s Icon Collection, comes with box. This figure was never displayed, just put away with the above Britians. Also the mini-Shakespeare House was gotten from Avon, the town of his birth. See picture 3.
The museum metallics gift shop item’s are near mint, stilled boxed. They are of two 1500s A.D. Knight in Armor, of a Knight and a Arquebus Soldier(musket trained trooper), from the early Renaissance Era. Unless you’re going to paint them/war game them, it is easier to just keep them in their boxes.
The second group of museum metallics are of a U.S. Revolutionary Soldier, U.S. Civil War Confederate Soldier, Union in green uniform sharpshooter, and, the Hero of Little Roundtop Colonel Chamberlain. I was suppose to use the Civil War pieces for a Gettysburg Diorama, but, forgot I had them in storage. All U.S. theme pieces show shelf ware. See picture 4.
The Elite Command of W.W. II figures are of U.S. General Patton and British General Montgomery. They come with three other figures, each in a box, never used/taken out, does show shelfware. See picture 5. The back of the boxes, can be seen in picture 6. I got these from upstate New York, in the late 1990s.
Another is a double set, that is half filled only with U.S. General Eisenhower “Ike”, see picture 7. Also retro metallic four soldiers you use to make as a kid, from a friend in Buffalo who gave them to me. See picture 8.
Also 5 figures from The Pride Of London Set, Near Mint stilled boxed. Made of plastic, you can pose them with Queen and Piper figures(they look like plastic réplicas of metallic orginials). Box shows shelfware. See picture 9 for description of the figures, and, Picture 10 the front of the box set(if mailed contents will be removed from box, the latter flatten for mailing).
If you see something you only want, let me know, and, I will see if I can redo this listing for you. Note read description, some units are metallic and few are plastic.
