Position Summary:
The Deli Clerk will be responsible for slicing, preparing, and packaging deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods while ensuring top standards for freshness, quality, and food safety. Candidates must have at least 2 years of deli experience in a supermarket or grocery store environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers at the deli counter.
Slice, weigh, wrap, and label meats, cheeses, and other deli products.
Prepare salads, sandwiches, and other ready-to-eat foods.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the deli area.
Follow all food safety and handling guidelines.
Keep displays stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of deli experience in a supermarket or grocery store required.
Strong knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
