Workforce Development Program Opportunities (Multiple Openings)
4-Month Contract-to-Hire | Bronx, NY
Hourly Range: $24–$26/hour
Conversion Salary: $45,000–$60,000 + potential bonuses (role dependent)

Overview
A mission-driven workforce development organization is hiring for multiple roles within a Career Development Program serving the Bronx. These positions are available on a 4-month contract basis with strong potential for full-time conversion.
This is an opportunity to join a team focused on economic mobility and career access, supporting individuals from underserved communities in securing and sustaining meaningful employment.
Open roles span across career coaching, training, operations support, and employer partnerships, offering opportunities for candidates with diverse backgrounds in social services, administration, sales, or education.
Available Career Paths
Depending on your background, you may be considered for one of the following areas:
Career Coaching / Advising – Supporting individuals through career planning, goal setting, and job placement
Program Support & Operations – Managing outreach, scheduling, data tracking, and participant engagement
Training & Facilitation – Designing and leading workshops on job readiness, soft skills, and career exploration
Employer Partnerships / Business Development – Building relationships with employers and connecting candidates to job opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Support participants through job readiness, career exploration, and employment placement
Conduct outreach, onboarding, and ongoing engagement with program participants
Identify and help address barriers to employment
Provide resume guidance, interview preparation, and job search support
Develop individualized plans and track participant progress
Facilitate workshops or training sessions, depending on role
Build relationships with employers and identify hiring needs (for employer-facing roles)
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in internal systems
Meet program goals related to enrollment, placement, and retention
Promote a professional, supportive, and inclusive environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required for most roles (not required for employer-facing/sales roles)
1–4 years of relevant experience in workforce development, social services, education, administration, or sales
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Experience working with diverse or underserved populations preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or similar systems is a plus
Interest in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve long-term success
