C&C - Custom 4-pc with Full-Kit Hardware, Rugged Cases, and Freebies - - $1,995 (Yonkers)

I am selling a 4-pc kit with high-quality hardware, as well as insanely nice cases for the drums and all the hardware for a full kit, including stands for hi-hat and 3 additional cymbals (see complete itemization at bottom of description). The 4 drums are custom-built C&C brand, 7-ply maple Keller shells made from the same maple tree. I am throwing in some small extra replacement hardware, misc. replacement drum heads, and a music stand, but I’m not really pricing those into this, and I figure those can just be cherries on top. I am also giving away a couple of my used cymbals and Paiste cymbal bag to sweeten the deal. Some of the pictures may show a snare drum and additional cymbals not mentioned in this listing, but those are not part of the listing and are for photo purposes only. I will be listing the cymbals in good condition in their own listings.
The drums were purchased back in early 2000’s, played on tour and in studio for about 5 years, and then stored in cases for the last 14 years. C&C makes their drums without drilling mounting holes, which creates a more pure sound, so all 3 toms are mounted with the Pearl I.S.S. mounting systems, leaving the bass drum with no tom bracket holes! The C&C drums have some cosmetic marks to their finishes and some of the hardware has tarnish, but are in otherwise lovely shape with a beautiful finish and awesome sound. The room in which I took photos was kind of dark, but I took some closeup photos using a flashlight so you can get a better look at their finish. The darker photos really don’t do it justice, the coloring really is beautiful. The bass drum is extra deep, so even though it’s only 20”, it packs a solid punch live and is also great for studio work. The toms are currently outfitted with clear heads for live setup, but they also mellow out great with coated heads in the studio. The drum heads are all new, minus tuning.
The carrying cases are beyond exceptional. All 4 drums have matching custom soft cases made by C&C (VERY hard to find and not made anymore), which are already incredibly thick with plush padding all on their own. But on top of that, I purchased SKB hard shell cases that were intentionally just large enough to fit the C&C soft cases (since SKB padding is notoriously wimpy). The soft cases go inside the hard cases to add an extra layer of protection, and this combination of SKB and C&C cases is crazy rugged and secure! I also have a matching SKB hardware carrying case with wheels that fits all of the hardware (including the throne). The hardware case has internal straps to keep the items from shifting, as well as a removable tray to hold isolated items. The SKB cases have a few small scratches and scuffs, but are still in absolutely beautiful condition. All of their straps/fasteners are in excellent shape with no fraying and no broken clips. Plus, they come with an unconditional lifetime warranty! (see last photo). Some of the photos of the carrying cases show a 5th drum case (snare) and leather drum case, but those cases are not being included, as they went with my Craviotto snare drum, which has already been sold.
The hardware is all heavy-duty gauge and super durable. It is a mixture of Gibraltar (throne & hi-hat), Ludwig (snare stand), Pearl/Tama/Yamaha (various tom and cymbal stands). The DW bass pedal is also like-new, and is the upgraded heel-less version, so your foot can rest in a more natural position (designed and patented by my childhood drum teacher).
Most 3-pc. C&C kits on Reverb go for well over $2,500k +shipping, and mine is a 4-pc. with all of the basic hardware, tons of additional hardware, plus the excellent custom travel/storage cases, so I think that $2,500 is an exceptional price that will sell fast. This would cost pretty steep prices to ship because of all the hardware, so I am aiming for local pickup to try to keep costs down. If you really want to ship all of this, we can discuss options, but I imagine you’re looking at probably at least $400 to ship this if not more.
