Global recycling company is seeking Sorting & Processing Associates for full-time opportunities.
Pay: $17.00
1st Shift 6:30 AM until completion
2nd Shift 3:00 PM until completion
Location: Bronx
Responsibilities:
- Separate and sort the recycling items such as plastic and glass bottles from other debris
- Learn the appropriate products to identify and sort according to classification
- Must be able to stand for four hours at a time (based on shift and break rotations)
- Must be able to comfortably lift, bend, sweep, shovel, a/o maneuver materials (less that 40 lbs.)
- Must wear hard hat, gloves, and sturdy work boots at all times within the facility
- MUST Have Garbage/Sanitation, Recycling experience, and tolerance for smell
Requirements:
- 1+ years' experience in Sanitation, Construction/Demolition or General Labor is preferred
- Must meet physical standards as specified above
- Must be able to work in an environment that is exposed to odors, hot or cold weather
- Position requires a team-player attitude
