Entry level: Maintenance Worker 1
Located @ Andrews Avenue
Bronx, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours per week.
Days off are Monday & Tuesday
Hours are: 9:00-5:00 PM

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Worker 1 is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe space.
This role handles daily cleaning duties, basic facility repairs, and assists with inventory and deliveries.
Principal Responsibilities:
Clean designated facility areas and dispose of garbage daily in accordance with the facility schedule. Responsible to maintain and clean shared spaces such as bathroom, kitchen and recreation areas.
You may also be asked to help with light facility repairs by assist the handyman or Superintendent to complete assigned maintenance work orders for minor building repairs.
Logistics & Inventory: Accept, lift deliveries ( not too heavy) and transport deliveries of supplies, furniture, and other program materials inside the building.
**Minimum Qualifications**
High School Diploma or GED required (Must have a physical copy of your diploma or GED).
Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including cleaning and lifting or transporting furniture or supplies.
**Pre-Employment Screening**

Must pass a drug screening
