Concrete Foreman – Union Experience REQUIRED

This is a working foreman position. We need someone who runs the crew, pushes production, and owns the concrete work from start to finish.

What This Foreman Will Do

Lead from the front on a union concrete crew — no standing around.

Drive production every day and make sure the crew is working, not waiting.

Run all concrete flatwork operations:

Layout

Forming

Rebar / mesh placement

Pour coordination

Finishing and cleanup

Hold the crew accountable to quality, safety, and schedule.

Stay on the crew all day — correct problems immediately, don’t let them slide.

Constant communication with the Project Manager:

Daily progress updates

Manpower needs

What’s coming next

Issues that will affect schedule or cost

Read basic plans and details and make sure the crew is building what’s on the drawings — no guesswork.

Coordinate materials, trucks, and equipment so nobody is standing around waiting.

Enforce jobsite safety and union rules — no shortcuts, no excuses.

Step in and work when needed to keep production moving.

What We Expect

Proven union job experience — REQUIRED (commercial or public work).

Strong, real-world knowledge of concrete flatwork.

Ability to push crews while still keeping the job organized and safe.

Comfortable making decisions in the field and owning the results.

Can communicate clearly with management and the crew — no surprises.

Shows up prepared, on time, and ready to run work.

This Is NOT

Not a clipboard-only role

Not a babysitting position

Not someone learning on the job
