The handle is 4 3/4" long.
There is a rim-rest opposite the handle, to keep this colander from dropping into a larger catch bowl.
The colander's bowl and rim rest are aluminum.
The handle is steel.
The handle has discoloration from heat.
This discoloration can not be scrubbed off.
This colander is undamaged.
