This is an original mid century Danish arm chair pair in the design manner of Erik Kirkegaard. The form is superb with striking presence and notable craftsmanship with quality materials. The outward curving backrest is balanced by the absence of any visible side stretcher bars-adding to the atomic, floating posture of strongly angled legs.. The structural integrity is solid. Originally fabric or a different pleather, clearly reupholstered (decades ago) with the present, late 60's, teal-colored vinyl upholstery; intact and well ready for upgraded fabric reupholstery.
Photographs were taken before thorough overall cleaning and wood rehab and are now in clean, sound original, not refinished condition. There are no remarkable condition issues to note; no repairs, splits, cracking or the like, . This is a seldom encountered example of mid century occasional seating of striking design profile with good comfort.
