This phone holder has side grips that expand outward when you press and hold the button on the back.
To hold your phone, you press the two side grips inward at the same time.
The side grips expand to 3¾" wide when fully opened. (That means this won't work if your phone is more than 3¾" wide.)
The side grips contract to 2⅛" wide when fully closed, so your phone can't be less than 2⅛" wide.
NOTE: This holder is not ideal for use in a car.
When bounced around, it will dislodge.
It it better for use at your desk.
