Needed for immediate hire for summer job! Possibility of long term employment for the school year as well.
Full time daycare assistant/floater in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Flexible hours but must be willing to work until 6pm. Duties may include but are not limited to:
-covering a classroom in the absence of one of two teachers, the other teacher will be present as well
-assisting in feeding, toileting, changing diapers, cleaning, supervision of children including during rest time, interacting with the children, playing with them, etc.
-be willing to float from classroom to classroom as needed during the day
-must be a team player and communicate well with others
Qualifications:
-MUST have at least HS diploma or GED - needed for school year hire
-Experience in early childcare a plus
-training certifications (this can be done during the hiring process) - needed for school year hire
-fingerprints (also done during the hiring process) - needed for school year hire
