About the Project:
We are launching an unscripted reality‑documentary YouTube series titled “[Show Name TBD]” that follows a Bronx‑based mechanical, HVAC, and energy company as we work on real projects, build our brand, and solve real‑world problems. The style is gritty, authentic, educational, and cinematic.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who’s is bilingual ( English/spanish) to take raw footage (office scenes, jobsite installations, interviews, drone shots) and craft it into compelling episodes of 20‑30 minutes each, plus short‑form clips (0:30–1:00) for social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and organize daily raw footage;
Cut and assemble episodes with strong narrative arcs (hook, middle, resolution);
Create polished intros/outros, add lower‑thirds, graphics, music and sound design;
Extract 2‑3 engaging short clips per episode for TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts;
Color‑grade and finalize episodes in consistent brand style;
Manage delivery schedule and support revisions as needed.
Experience & Skills Required:
Proven experience editing reality/documentary style content or YouTube series;
Proficiency with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve);
Ability to handle both long‑form and short‑form content;
Strong storytelling instincts, pacing, and trade‑industry knowledge a plus;
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly.
Deliverables:
10 full‑length episodes (20‑30 minutes each) by January 30;
24+ short‑form clips (0:30–1:00) across social platforms;
Project files and exported masters (YouTube format + social format).
Gear/Footage Provided:
Primary footage from cinematographer + DRONE + shop/field audio;
Brand assets, logo, and style guidelines;
Access to cloud storage for raw footage.
Compensation:
