Over 20 years selling Volvos, has resulted in being able to find the " good ones ". I currently have 6 family members and friends in Volvos over 200,000 miles. I still have my 1995 with 380,000!
I don't think there is a smarter buy than this year range 3.2 XC70.
~ Non turbo equals less potential issues. ~ No timing belt. ~ They don't rust out.
Extremely good in the snow/ Safe.
2010 with 152k. Last lived at a over 1 Million dollar home. Clearly well kept. No accidents. Tires / Brakes at over half life. Just serviced and inspected. Moon Roof, / Heated Seats.
Runs and drives simply like new.

Include your zip code and details of any old vehicle you may have, that could help with sales tax / make the transaction easier. If it can't make the ride back to MA I do have a car trailer.
I often take care of cars for parents not in New England, sending cars to students in NY/NE universities or Cape/Islands etc.
