YANMAR 3GMF Marine Diesel 3 Cylinder Engine. This has a continuous rating of 20hp. This includes the attached Kanzaki KM3-A Transmission with a 2.61 gear ratio. This is a "fresh water cooled" engine, so it has a circuit of antifreeze that is pumped through the block and head, the antifreeze is cooled in a heat exchanger via sea water. This includes what is seen in the pictures. Below is a link to a YouTube video I shot of the engine. The engine appears to have had the raw water pump replaced very recently . This engine was removed from a boat that had rudder damage and was deemed a total loss (The boat did not take on water). The video shows the engine running on Jan 14th, 2025. This was a 30 degree day and the engine started instantly! (NO Ether, etc needed to start engine in these cold temp). Engine was winterized immediately after making video. I would recommend replacing the aft starboard engine mount as it is tired. No effort was made to clean or "pretty up" the cosmetics of this engine - it could use a power wash. If you just need the engine and not the transmission we can probably figure something out. The engine is located on City island, NY (10464 zip code if you want to look it up) For pick or this can be freight shipped to you. If picking up I can assist with loading via a shop Crain. If a forklift is required I may be able to arrange one for a fee. I have other Yanmar Diesel engines for sale (2gmf, 2gm20F, 1gm, etc) as well as some transmissions.
