I don't know their names but they weren't playing around ($$$$). There was a private sale prior and when I arrived at the most amazing Upper West Side Townhome I saw DOZENS of original posters signed and framed leaning against the walls and being wrapped up. There was an original Jesus Christ Superstar poster signed by every member of the original cast and I nearly passed out!?
Anyway, my guess is, since these Playbills are predominantly signed on the inside, those buyers weren't interested. I'm keeping the ones that I want, you can have at the rest.
I listed many on eBay and did quite well. I don’t have the time to do these one by one anymore. You could probably make a killing. Worse case, YOUR collection just got REAL SOLID!
MANY if not MOST of these signatures are from actors long passed.
This is for the ENTIRE COLLECTION OF 42 AS A LOT. NOT A SINGLE ONE will be separated.
Any and all emails asking such and not getting straight to available dates/times for pickup will be ignored and blocked AS WILL emails simply asking “are they still available”. If the ad is still up, logic dictates.
I’ll be listing the entire lot on eBay if they’re not gone by Monday. Hoping to get these to a Local/NYC-adjacent person first.
