A very nice Portrait of a Beautiful Young Woman (an owner of one or Rye Brook Estates), Oil on Canvas, framed, signed. Painting - 22" x 35", Frame - 27" x 43" Signed Lucerne Robert 1964.
Lucerne Robert - well known American portrait artist, who worked in Johannesburg South Africa, and settled in Cape Town. Most well know for her portraits, most notably a portrait of Joan Crawford, that Joan liked so much she used it as the cover for her autobiography. Portrait cost in the 1980s between $3000 and $ 10000
