Busy Brooklyn auto body shop is hiring a hands-on Quality Control / Parts Coordinator / Car Inspector to make sure every car goes from crash to complete — leaving shiny, clean, and perfect for customers.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect cars with a checklist from crash damage to final delivery
• Compare before & after photos at point of impact to verify proper repairs
• Lay out parts for techs before jobs start
• Walk the shop daily to check progress on each car
• Order & track parts using CCC One
• Be familiar with part numbers and ensure correct part matching
• Call dealers & vendors to order and confirm parts
• Use PartsTrader for parts sourcing and ordering
• Communicate with techs to confirm missing/needed parts
• Read and interpret insurance estimates
• Organize parts/returns and keep workflow efficient
Requirements:
• Must know CCC One for parts ordering
• Must be able to read insurance estimates
• Familiarity with PartsTrader and dealer communication
• Collision/auto body shop experience preferred
• Reliable, detail-oriented, strong communicator
