We are looking for a full-time Shop Drawing / Drafting Specialist to join our high-end custom woodworking shop.
This role is ideal for SEAESONED DRAFTER OR a Junior Architect or Engineer with a millwork drafting experience or a Millwork drafter.
Salary: $65,000 – $95,000 per year (based on experience)
--- Responsibilities ---
Prepare detailed shop drawings for custom cabinetry and millwork
Perform site surveys and precise field measurements
Generate detailed drawings for fabrication and installation
Interpret architectural and design drawings
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and shop team
Revise drawings based on feedback and field conditions
Ensure drawings are accurate for production and installation
--- Qualifications ---
Knowledge of woodworking or millwork drafting
Strong precision in measuring and generating detailed drawings
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
Strong attention to detail and organization
Good communication with shop teams and clients
Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting software
