This role is for someone who has managed excavation, foundations, steel, framing, and DOB structural jobs in NYC.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple NYC construction projects from start to finish
Supervise foundation, excavation, steel, framing, and structural crews
Coordinate DOB inspections, structural sign-offs, and permit progress
Create project schedules and keep jobs moving on time
Order materials, manage deliveries, and coordinate subcontractors
Control job costs, change orders, and labor productivity
Daily site visits, photo documentation, and progress reporting
Communicate directly with owners, engineers, architects, and inspectors
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Non-Negotiable):
5+ years of NYC field PM experience
Must have managed at least some of the following:
Underpinning
Excavation & shoring
New foundations
Steel beam & column installs
House extensions / vertical additions
Structural framing
Strong understanding of:
NYC DOB inspections
Structural drawings
Concrete & steel construction
Site safety and sequencing
Must be comfortable being on site daily
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Strong leadership & scheduling skills
Ability to read structural & architectural drawings
Good English communication (Russian / Ukrainian is a plus)
Smartphone use for photos, daily reports, and site coordination
