Independent auto repair shop in Brooklyn is looking for a motivated Auto Service Writer / Advisor with mechanic or technician experience to join our team.

• Focused on staying up to date with industry changes and training
What You’ll Do:
• Communicate clearly with both technicians and customers
• Write up estimates based on technician findings and customer concerns
• Explain repairs and recommendations in simple terms
• Source parts and assign labor using Mitchell, ALLDATA, and Identifix
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
What We’re Looking For:
• Mechanic or technician experience is required
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Tech savvy and open to learning
Benefits:
• Starting pay between $75,000 and $95,000 depending on experience
