Everpresent is a dark electronic-rock project active since 2002, planning an exciting reboot, drawing on its core sound while expanding into new sonic territory over a planned out, scheduled, and strategic time period.
If you have other projects that you are already a part of, this project could still potentially work for you.
The project has achieved the following so far:
-9 releases, national touring experience, including headlining performances in Boston and Providence opening for national acts.
-College radio play in most of the USA.
-TV and film placements in the Discovery/Science/TLC/MTV channels.
-Videos airing on multiple TV networks in multiple countries (not just online/social media).
-Press coverage (interviews album reviews) in multiple countries.
-Several collaborators (songwriters, performers, engineers, and producers) are alumni of Berklee College of Music.
The vocalist needs to provide harmonies and co-lead elements to work with a male frontman and female drummer for a new album recorded remotely over time and new music videos/photos-(one filmed in LA), photoshoots, and selected live performances/submissions to festivals and industry executives and global press by a professional publicity team.
It is essential that you are able to "go there" at times in terms of highly sensual, bold, and psychological lyrics.
Artists and material that would be a good reference point for lyrics and music to varying degrees would be:
Albums:
Prince "Come" 1994
Depeche Mode: "Violator" (1990) and "Songs of Faith and Devotion" (1993)
Nine Inch Nails "Pretty Hate Machine" (1989) and "The Downward Spiral (1994)
Madonna: "Erotica"(1992)
Almost all of the women that have sang in the project all came from pop, rock, R+B, soul, and Latin music backgrounds and had never tried this genre, but all of them had an edge, and enjoyed the "black leather/Halloween" intensity of the project.
If you have this side of yourself, and want to try something different, please submit:
