Rare and Vintage. Pristine clean condition. Seems it was not in use. It was in dry and dark storage for more 60 years! Set is complete, tested and found working. Brass bearing has been oiled. Brushes refreshed. New drivers hired! Buy and enjoy the legendary first edition of slot era car toy! Supplied with modern US plug transformer with 13.5 Volt. Yes not 14V, not 22V, not 12V, but 13.5 Volt as it was recommended by manufacturer in documentation! Has been tested electrically, and found working. Box has tears and wears. Wires has been connected with modern US connectors. Specifically formulated oil with cork cap and brush in the middle has oil from back 1962... Lionel was the official distributor this set in US, some documentation came from Lionel. Set has been manufactured in England. Tracks are mix of plastic and rubber!!! Decals discolored. Two Red and Blue Vehicles have high quality plastic and colors are still bright and vivid! Both have some room for converting it to digital.
