I have someone moving in in November, so this is ONLY for the month of October.
Ideal roommate is quiet, calm and clean, as I am.

The apartment:
The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, separated by the living room and kitchen. The room has a high ceiling, two tall windows with blackout curtains (photos with white curtains photos are older), a heater, a window air conditioning unit and a huge closet space. It is furnished with a full size bed, desk, chair, bookshelves, lamp and area rug. The main rectangular area of the room is just over 11' x 10' (not including the closets), with a 10' ceiling.
The rest of the apartment is furnished. There is fast Verizon Fios wi-fi internet.
The apartment is one block from the M train at Central Avenue, and about a 10 minute walk from the J at Kosciuszko Street. It normally takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Manhattan on the M or J. The B38 bus also stops right outside.

After living with roommates for many years, I've learned I should mention a few things up front:
- I keep the place very clean, dishes washed, etc. and I'm looking for someone who can clean up after themselves thoroughly without being asked.
- No outdoor shoes in the apartment.
- This is a non-smoking apartment (i.e., you may not smoke out of your window---you have to go outside).
