What's up, people? Thanks for looking. A quick overview of everything starts...now:
Dumbo is now one of the most popular neighborhood in the city, with good reason. It's Picturesque, quiet, has quaint cobblestone streets, stunning views, great restaurants, and shopping, and 20,000 square feet of time out new york food hall all within walking distance of my door. It's a great little neighborhood. This is Brooklyn's most photographed and desirable neighborhood. Jay Z rapped that he wished he had bought in Dumbo. Jay-Z: 0 Ryan: 1. It's the creative capital of the city with easy access to the A C and F trains, just one stop to Manhattan. It's really blossoming with the new Empire Stores, several new restaurants and shops, including a sweet green, Ciccone's, and Sugarcane. It's perfect for commuters or those living and working in Brooklyn. Around the block is the new West Elm, One Girl Cookies, Almandine, and Brooklyn Bridge Park. The piers feature basketball, roller hockey, soccer fields, volleyball, and loads of other restaurants and sights. Tons of stuff to do within 3 blocks of the apartment.
Now, the apartment is in a boutique, doorman building, with great neighbors, many of whom are raising young families. The place is a very large 2 bedroom, over 1300 square feet, in which you'll be renting a big, master-sized suite with a big closet, queen-sized bed, with casper mattress, and some other nice appointments: a love seat, ikea dresser, a lovely rug that ties it all together, hand-crafted coffee table. Also, you have your own bathroom that is gargantuan by NYC standards complete with a JACUZZI tub in your bathroom. Take a moment to process that. Shared spaces include a professional kitchen with viking range, a giant fridge, a living room, and dining room. There is also a big storage closet in the hall, a pantry, and extra storage in the basement for various items.
ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED
The neighborhood is quiet, so light sleepers need not be deterred.
About me (your roommate) -- I'm a business owner and work in the city. I travel a bit, and I own an adorable and very instagramable Australian Shepherd named Rudder. He loves your attention as much as you love giving it to him.
What I'm looking for -- My current tenant has been terrific, and will be leaving at the end of November. The apartment is available as of February 1st.
I'm looking for an easy going, responsible, friendly roommate. Gainfully employed. Freelancers welcomed. To move in, you'll need to pay first months rent as well as security deposit of $2300. Thanks for looking.
