MUST LOVE CATS :-)

Hi! Welcome to your NYC home for 12 days. This will be your own private loft -- no roommates :-)

I'm going out of Town and looking for someone to enjoy this iconic space and to take care of my kitty in exchange for a deeply discounted sublet rate. This is an unbelievable neighborhood, with cafe and restaurants on every block. However this particular block is very residential and the evenings are very quiet and you won't hear hardly anything.

10 min walk to Bedfort L (1 stop from Manhattan)
5 minute walk to iconic waterfront
4 min walk to whole foods/trader joes

$1,200 for 10 days ($100/day) plus $300 refundable deposit. Only looking for someone who can be here the whole time -- and dates are firm.

The loft itself is not a luxury loft – it's one of the last remaining historical artist warehouses left in Williamsburg. It has a lot of character and charm -it was one of the original aerial dance training studios in Brooklyn and used to be known as Test Site, a fine arts gallery where Keith Herring used to work out of. Being the older arts loft that it is, it does have it's quirks. The bathroom is across the hall, however, it is absolutely your private bathroom. Two other people share the main entrance with you as there's a small, very cool vintage store that runs out of the back of the building and then one other person lives behind that.

You will share the main entrance to the building with the vintage shop, and some members of the public will be entering that main entrance when it is open, usually on weekends and select afternoons during the week. It's not an extremely busy vintage shop and you really can't hear anything from the loft if the door is closed.

Curly is relatively low maintenance; however, I am looking for someone that can be here and hang out with her a bit during the day and/or evenings, ideally not someone who's going to be out every day 12+ hours a day, but should be fine if you have a couple days like that. She really loves company.

Basic cat care will just be feeding her once a day, kitty litter, and giving her medicine which you can put in her food once a day- it's very easy. And of course, petting her and sending me daily photos!

If you are interested, please email me with a little bit about yourself and why you're coming to New York, and any experience that you have with having a cat yourself or cat sitting.
