We are seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to join our team at a dynamic fitness facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness and a strong ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, helping them feel supported, understood, and confident as they work toward their goals.

Duties
Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients' current fitness levels
Develop personalized workout plans tailored to individual clients’ needs, goals, and lived experience
Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and confidence
Motivate, encourage, and support clients throughout their fitness journey, adapting communication style as needed
Monitor clients’ progress and make thoughtful adjustments to training plans based on performance, feedback, and recovery
Provide practical guidance on nutrition and lifestyle habits to complement fitness routines
Build long-term client relationships through consistency, trust, and accountability
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Must have a realistic commute to Park Slope, Brooklyn
Experience
Required:
Certification in Personal Training
CPR certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics
Hands-on experience working with clients in a one-on-one or small-group setting
MUST be able to legally work in USA
Nice-to-have:
Background in a health club, boutique studio, or gym environment
Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field
Coaching Philosophy & Client Connection
Ability to meet clients where they are—physically, mentally, and emotionally
Demonstrated empathy and active listening skills
Experience working with a wide range of fitness levels, backgrounds, and motivations
Commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive training environment
Interest in long-term coaching relationships rather than transactional sessions
Availability
*****We specifically need Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings starting at 6am or 7am until 12pm or 1pm. We have more hours to offer but Tuesday/Thursday mornings are a necessity at the moment.*****
