Westhab is hiring Security Guards, Shift Supervisors, Employment Specialists and Job Developers for shelters in Queens
F02 Safety Security Officers- $19.65 per hour
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security experience required
- Must have NYS Security Guard License
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime if necessary
- F02 or willing to obtain.
F80 Shift Supervisors- $24.00 per hour
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1-2 years of Supervisor experience required.
- Must have NYS Security Guard License, Fire Guard License F80 Required.
- Must possess a general knowledge of security systems.
- Knowledge of video surveillance and fire detection/alarm notification systems a must.
- Must have shelter knowledge and be familiar with CARES and DHS shelter protocols
Employment Specialists- $40k-$50k annually
- Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience in casework, or employment and training programs, or Associate Degree and four years of relevant work experience.
- Must have computer skills in word and excel. Must be available for evenings/weekend work.
Job Developers- $$40k-$55k annually
- Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience in sales, marketing, job development, social/human services or employment and training program working with disadvantaged adults.
Case Managers- $$40k-$52k annually
- MSW preferred, Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Human Services Field considered with 5 years of case management experience working with the homeless, mentally ill, substance abuse and/or low income populations.
- Strong relationship building skills required.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and follow-up on a timely basis. Strong PC skills required including Word and Excel.
Must be able to speak fluent English for all positions
