The apartment is on the second floor (one flight up) and features central heating, an air conditioning window unit, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, and dishwasher. There’s also a large shared common area that is currently unfurnished since the roommate moved out — the perfect chance to create our own vibe together in the space. Laundry is just down the street, and there’s a grocery store within a 5-minute walk along with plenty of bodegas, coffee shops, and bars in this up-and-coming neighborhood. Transportation is very convenient — steps from the Rockaway Ave C stop or a 10-minute walk to Broadway Junction for the J, L, A, and C lines plus multiple bus routes.
You’ll be sharing the space with a professional woman in her 30s and her adorable French poodle. I have a very busy work and personal life, and when I’m not out, I’m usually in my room vibing out or in the common area reading — so the apartment is generally calm and low-key. I’m looking for someone who’s very clean (non-negotiable) and doesn’t wear shoes inside the apartment — house slippers are fine, but New York streets are filthy. While we love other animals, we are not accepting applicants with pets at this time. High preference will be given to individuals who do not work from home. A female roommate is preferable, but all genders will be considered.
