ROOM: Large unfurnished basement room, in a small 2-story apartment. This room is the entire bottom floor and has its own private entrance. (Although you can use the main entrance too).
APARTMENT: This is a 2-story unit in a 14-unit building with a shared courtyard (pictured). The apartment is furnished with a small kitchen, bathroom, and sofa. The common space is on the smaller size (but the open bedroom for rent is large).
LOCATION: The apartment is right in the heart of Williamsburg on N. 7th Street, btw Berry and Wythe. It's a 4 minute walk from the L (Bedford), 10 min walk to the G (Metropolitan), and 15 min walk to the J,M,Z (Marcy). There are multiple bars and restaurants every way you look. It's about 2 blocks away from the riverfront Pier and Park (Smorgasburg), and 6 blocks to McCarren Park. Nearby: Laundromat, laundry service, dry cleaner, Citi Bike, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Foodtown, and Summer Rockaway bus service.
YOU: We're looking for a roommate who is ideally a professional (25 and up) and enjoys being out and about. You'll have lived with your fair-share of roommates and understand how a shared house works. We want our new roommate to maintain a clean and respectful environment as well.
RENT: $1,500 + utilities (Internet, Gas, Electricity run $75-$115/mo per person)

ROOMMATES: We are two male professionals in our 30s/40s, both vaccinated, and very courteous. Our living environment is relaxed and friendly, away from the business of the city. We keep our place clean, and respect each other's space. We both travel a ton, so the apartment never feels crowded and you may often have it to yourself or with just 1 of the of the roommates.
